BawleyStock Music Festival

Who:

BawleyStock, held in the magical forests of Bawley Point, promises to be the best rock festival in the Shoalhaven region over the October long weekend, maybe the best ever, who knows. All the best in local talent converge for one day only, to celebrate music in all its forms in a magical bush setting on the NSW South Coast. All welcome!! Bring along your chairs, blankets and eskies, relax and let the music wash over you on a sunny, spring afternoon in paradise.

Overview:

No website was being used by the BawleyStock Festival organiser, John Kovar. Re{invent} Yourself donated a dynamic website and all ongoing work required to keep it up to date. The main aim of the site is to keep fans updated on events planned and showcase the talent via the site. Bands were given a page each to plug their music with links to social networks i.e. MySpace Music, Face Book and You Tube.

What We Did:

The BawleyStock committee required a site that informed the public about their annual music festival. A Flash header was used and each page plays a different song from participating artists. The site incorporates a Face Book link, a Google Maps link and My Space link. Each artists profile page contains links to their My Space Music page, MP3 download where available and a You Tube link where available. Social Networking was used extensively to promote the event with this years festival exceeding previous years numbers. A newsletter signup form is available for fans, bands and sponsors.

Our main focus with SEO was Social Media Marketing. We used Face Book, Google Maps, MySpcae, Stumble Upon, and many different music directories. We added site specific code to the HTML and using Google tools.
